  • Career Information:
    • Helped Thrashers squad finish with the second-best record (2-1-0-1) at the five-team 2002 NHL Centre Ice Prospect Tournament at Traverse City, Mich., from Sept. 6-9.
    • Topped all Battalion defensemen in scoring and led the team with 148 penalty minutes in 2001-2002.
    • Played in all 68 regular-season games for Brampton in 2001-2002 to end his OHL career with a team-record 140 consecutive games played streak, which dates back to the final four games of the 1999-00 season.
    • Paul began playing hockey in 1988 at the age of six when he played for the Ennismore Jets Tykes.

  • Personal Information:
    • His twin brother, Peter, was selected by Chicago in the ninth round, 262nd overall, in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft with a pick acquired by the Blackhawks from Atlanta in a draft-day trade for the rights to Ben Simon. Peter was released in 2002 by the Blackhawks organization, and was signed by the Greenville Grrrowl on March 26, 2003.
    • Enjoys playing soccer and played in the Peterborough City Soccer League for 4 years. He was the most valuable player in his final year (1994).
    • His father, Bernie, played semi-pro soccer as a goaltender in the Greater Toronto area.
    • He was a first year student at York University in 2000-2001, where his favorite subject was Law.
