I'll be holding an anniversary game on July 19th, 2008. This is the only game that I'll be running this year for the LAFF group, so there'll be a lot of pomp and circumstance for this event. The Catering Canids have agreed to once again supply yumminess to the post-game picnic, but I'm sure you want to know all about the real details. When: July 19th, 2008. Gather at noon for practice, game starts at 1pm sharp. No delays this time. Where: Belvidere Park, Waukegan, IL. Google Maps is your best bet for finding it if you really need directions. What: Softball! You can refer to last year's announcement on the Livejournal community (http://community.livejournal.com/lafflist/168677.html) or the following text file (http://www.catbox.com/laffcal/softball2002.txt) for some of the basic rules and such. How much: $15, which covers catering costs and park reservation fees. Price is non-negotiable, and donations of extra cash or snacks/drinks will be happily accepted. Paypal is also accepted (use the gmail address that this message was sent from), though a fee of $1 must be added on (for a total of $16) to cover their processing charges. Contingency: None. If Mother Nature deems it necessary to cancel the event, it will not be rescheduled.
